The Deeds of Sukalā (Vena Episode): Husband as Tīrtha & Pativratā-Dharma

एकाहारा निराहारा तावत्स्थास्ये न संशयः । यावच्चागमनं भर्तुः पुनरेव भविष्यति

ekāhārā nirāhārā tāvatsthāsye na saṃśayaḥ | yāvaccāgamanaṃ bhartuḥ punareva bhaviṣyati

Que je ne prenne qu’un seul repas par jour ou que je m’abstienne entièrement de nourriture, je demeurerai ainsi—sans doute—jusqu’au retour de mon époux, de nouveau.
