Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya

यं समाश्रित्य मनुजो यथोक्तं फलमाप्नुयात् । तीर्थाभिगमनं पुण्यं यज्ञैरपि विशिष्यते ॥ ७ ॥

yaṃ samāśritya manujo yathoktaṃ phalamāpnuyāt | tīrthābhigamanaṃ puṇyaṃ yajñairapi viśiṣyate || 7 ||

Celui qui s’y réfugie obtient le fruit annoncé. Le mérite d’aller aux tīrtha est tenu pour supérieur même aux rites sacrificiels (yajña).
