The Greatness of Gayā

Gayā-Māhātmya

शरणं हरिरूचे तान्भवितव्यं शिवात्मभिः । पातितस्य महान्देहे तथेत्यूचुः सुरा हरिम् ॥ ९ ॥

śaraṇaṃ harirūce tānbhavitavyaṃ śivātmabhiḥ | pātitasya mahāndehe tathetyūcuḥ surā harim || 9 ||

Hari leur dit : «Que cela soit accompli par ceux qui sont de la nature même de Śiva.» Quand le grand corps eut été abattu, les dieux répondirent à Hari : «Qu’il en soit ainsi.»
