FAQs

It highlights dharmic gratitude: recognizing the mother’s unique suffering in childbirth is a basis for reverence, service, and ethical conduct toward one’s parents—especially the mother.

By cultivating humility and gratitude through honoring the mother’s sacrifice, one purifies the heart—an essential inner discipline that supports steady Vishnu-bhakti and compassionate living.

No specific Vedanga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is dharma-niti for household life—acknowledging the mother’s hardship and repaying it through respectful service and righteous conduct.
