The Greatness of the Month of Māgha

Māgha-snāna, Harivāsara, and the Kāṣṭhīlā-Upākhyāna

पूर्वजन्मकृतात्पापात्सत्यं सत्यं मयोदितम् । एवमुक्ते तु वचने मया विद्युत्समप्रभा ॥ ५३ ॥

pūrvajanmakṛtātpāpātsatyaṃ satyaṃ mayoditam | evamukte tu vacane mayā vidyutsamaprabhā || 53 ||

À cause du péché commis dans une naissance antérieure, j’ai parlé — vrai, vrai. Quand ces paroles furent dites par moi, elle apparut avec un éclat pareil à l’éclair.
