The Discourse of Rukmāṅgada
Prabodhinī Ekādaśī, Kārtika-vrata, and Satya-dharma
रुक्मांगद उवाच । जानामि तव शीलं तु कुलं जानामि भामिनि । तव वाक्येन हि चिरं मोहिनी रमिता मया ॥ १३ ॥
rukmāṃgada uvāca | jānāmi tava śīlaṃ tu kulaṃ jānāmi bhāmini | tava vākyena hi ciraṃ mohinī ramitā mayā || 13 ||
Rukmāṅgada dit : «Je connais ton caractère, et je connais ta lignée, ô femme passionnée. En vérité, c’est par tes paroles que, depuis longtemps, j’ai été abusé, ô enchanteresse, et que j’ai vécu auprès de toi.»
