The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

पीतांजनश्वेतरक्ताः प्रधानसदृशायुधाः । चतुर्वक्त्रसमायुक्ता यथावत्ताः प्रपूजयेत् ॥ २४ ॥

pītāṃjanaśvetaraktāḥ pradhānasadṛśāyudhāḥ | caturvaktrasamāyuktā yathāvattāḥ prapūjayet || 24 ||

Qu’on les vénère comme il se doit : revêtus (ou oints) de jaune, de blanc et de rouge; portant des armes semblables à celles de la Divinité principale; et pourvus de quatre visages.
