Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents a Sāma-vedic, Nṛsiṁha-centered application where fear is first released and then pacified, implying a disciplined, stepwise ritual-psychological purification culminating in steady meditative form (dharana).
By invoking Nṛsiṁha (a protective form of Viṣṇu) through sacred chant, the verse frames devotion as an applied practice: remembrance and sonic worship that stabilizes the mind and removes भय (fear), a key obstacle to steady bhakti.
It highlights technical mantra-application tied to Sāma Veda (sāman) usage—how a specific chant (Br̥hat-sāman) is employed at a defined ritual/meditative endpoint (dhāraṇānte) for a precise effect (fear-removal and pacification).
