Si l’on urine en avalant la nourriture, ou si l’on urine après avoir mangé, alors—après avoir jeûné un jour et une nuit entiers—on doit offrir du ghee dans le feu sacré, en rite d’expiation.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a dharma/prāyaścitta context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It frames bodily discipline and purity (śauca) as part of dharma, prescribing a measured prāyaścitta—fasting and a ghee-offering—to restore ritual fitness after an improper act.
Indirectly: it supports bhakti by emphasizing inner and outer cleanliness and self-restraint, which traditionally prepare a person for worship, mantra, and sacred observances without ritual impediments.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied: the verse specifies a corrective homa using ghee and a defined period of restraint (a day and night) as a practical ritual remedy.
