Pūrṇimā Pūrṇa-vratas: Dharmarāja-vrata, Vaṭa-Sāvitrī-vrata, and Gopadma-vrata
Narada (teaching in a vrata/ritual injunction sequence, traditionally in dialogue with Sanatkumara)
Vrata: Vaṭa-Sāvitrī-vrata (continuation of the same ritual sequence)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a dharmic observance where honoring and feeding suvāsinī women, followed by disciplined self-restraint and next-day eating, is said to yield saubhāgya—auspicious well-being, especially connected with marital fortune.
While framed as ritual dharma, the act of respectfully requesting, serving others first, and practicing restraint embodies devotional qualities—humility, service (sevā), and reverence—often treated as supportive disciplines for Vishnu-bhakti in Purāṇic teaching.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied: the sequence of actions—invitation/entreaty, feeding recipients, and the regulated timing of one’s own meal on the following day—reflects practical vrata-vidhi rather than grammar or astrology.
