*शुक्र उवाच वृतो ऽनया पतिर्वीर सुतया त्वं ममेष्टया गृहाणेमां मया दत्तां महिषीं नहुषात्मज //

Transliteration

*śukra uvāca vṛto 'nayā patirvīra sutayā tvaṃ mameṣṭayā gṛhāṇemāṃ mayā dattāṃ mahiṣīṃ nahuṣātmaja //

Translation

Śukra dit : «Ô héros, tu as été choisi pour époux par cette fille, chère à mon cœur. Ainsi, ô fils de Nahuṣa, reçois-la comme reine principale, que je te confère.»
