Adhyaya 79 — Chanda and Munda
भृगोस्तु भृगवो देवाः पुत्रा ह्यङ्गिरसः सुताः ।
एष सर्गश्च मारीचो विज्ञेयः साम्प्रताधिपः ॥
bhṛgos tu bhṛgavo devāḥ putrā hy aṅgirasaḥ sutāḥ | eṣa sargaś ca mārīco vijñeyaḥ sāmpratādhipaḥ ||
Parmi les dieux, les Bhṛgu sont véritablement les fils de Bhṛgu, et les Aṅgirasa sont les fils d’Aṅgiras. Cette création (sarga) doit être comprise comme la lignée Mārīca, celle qui préside à l’époque présente.
