एवं सर्वात्मना रक्षा कार्या योगविदा नृप ॥
vāyvagrī-dhāraṇenainaṃ deha-saṃsthaṃ vinirdahet /
evaṃ sarvātmanā rakṣā kāryā yogavidā nṛpa //

Competence matters: protection is not mere wishing but a disciplined application of yogic knowledge, implying responsibility and training for those who guide or practice.
Auxiliary yogic instruction; outside pancalakṣaṇa.
‘Burning out’ indicates tapas-like internal heat generated through prāṇa-direction; vāyvagrī suggests prāṇa as the vehicle of both disturbance and cure when mastered.
