Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
उदयास्तमने भानोः शयनञ्च विवर्जयेत् ।
नास्नातो नैव संविष्टो न चैवान्यमना नरः ॥
udayāstamane bhānoḥ śayanañ ca vivarjayet | nāsnāto naiva saṃviṣṭo na caivānyamanā naraḥ ||
Il faut éviter de s’allonger au lever et au coucher du soleil. L’homme ne doit pas s’asseoir pour manger (ni se recliner) sans s’être baigné, ni sans être correctement assis, ni l’esprit distrait.
