The verse highlights dharmic leadership and disciplined self-presentation: Yudhiṣṭhira is placed foremost, and the heroes appear in a manner consistent with honor and vow-keeping—power restrained by propriety.
After the period of concealment and the completion of their pledge, the Pāṇḍavas, led by Yudhiṣṭhira, appear at the entrance in full royal adornment, shining and formidable like great elephants at a gate, ready to enter the royal setting openly.
