Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
Even the greatest seek success through humility and devoted worship; divine grace (prasāda) is approached through reverence, and rare attainments are portrayed as fruits of disciplined devotion rather than entitlement.
The text recalls an ancient episode where Viṣṇu propitiates Rudra to gain his favor and receives many rare boons; it then transitions toward the account of a pilgrimage to the widely renowned Suvarṇa-tīrtha.
