युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
प्राइनदीतीर्थमें जानेसे द्विज कृतार्थ हो जाता है। वह सब पापोंसे शुद्धचित्त होकर इन्द्रलोकमें जाता है ।।
ṛṣabhadvīpam āsādya medhyaṃ krauñcanisūdanam | sarasvatyām upaspṛśya vimānastho virājate || tīrthasevī manuṣyaḥ pavitraṃ ṛṣabhadvīpaṃ ca krauñcanisūdanatīrthaṃ ca gatvā sarasvatyāṃ snānena vimāne virājate |
En se rendant au tīrtha de la rivière Prāyaṇa, le dvija accomplit son dessein ; l’esprit purifié de tous les péchés, il gagne le monde d’Indra. Et celui qui sert les tīrtha, parvenu à l’île pure nommée Ṛṣabhadvīpa et au gué sanctifiant appelé Krauñca-nisūdana, puis s’étant baigné dans la Sarasvatī, resplendit comme assis dans un char céleste.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
