तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वाणो वाजपेयमवाप्नुयात् । देवकूटं समासाद्य ब्रह्मर्षिगणसेवितम्
tatrābhiṣekaṃ kurvāṇo vājapeyam avāpnuyāt | devakūṭaṃ samāsādya brahmarṣigaṇasevitam ||
Là, celui qui accomplit le rite de consécration obtient le mérite du sacrifice Vājapeya. Puis, parvenu à Devakūṭa—lieu fréquenté et révéré par des multitudes de brahmarṣis—il recueille un fruit religieux purificateur en accomplissant le rite selon la règle en un lieu saint : car la discipline de l’observance et la proximité du sacré élèvent la condition spirituelle.

The verse teaches that sincere performance of prescribed rites in a sanctified place—especially one associated with great sages—yields extraordinary religious merit, comparable to major Vedic sacrifices, underscoring the ethical value of disciplined observance and reverence for holy sites and saintly presence.
