नभो वितिमिरं कुर्वज्जलदान् पाटयन्निव । दिश: सम्पूरयन् नादैर्महामेघरवोपमै:,वह रथ आकाशको अन्धकारशून्य मेघोंकी घटाको विदीर्ण और महान् मेघकी गर्जनाके समान गम्भीर शब्दसे दिशाओंको परिपूर्ण-सा कर रहा था
vaiśampāyana uvāca | nabho vitimiraṃ kurvaj jaladān pāṭayann iva | diśaḥ sampūrayan nādair mahāmegharavopamaiḥ |
Vaiśampāyana dit : « Ce char semblait chasser l’obscurité du ciel, comme s’il déchirait les amas de nuages de pluie ; et, par son grondement profond, pareil au tonnerre—tel le roulement des grands nuages—il emplissait de son les directions entières. »
