धर्मोड्हमिति भद्र ते जिज्ञासुस्त्वामिहागत: । आनुृशंस्येन तुष्टोडस्मि वरं दास्यामि तेडनघ
yakṣa uvāca | dharmoḍham iti bhadra te jijñāsus tvām ihāgataḥ | ānṛśaṁsyena tuṣṭo ’smi varaṁ dāsyāmi te ’nagha ||
Le Yakṣa dit : «Bénédictions sur toi. Je suis Dharma, et je suis venu ici pour éprouver et comprendre ta conduite. Ô roi sans péché, ta compassion et ton regard impartial envers autrui me réjouissent ; c’est pourquoi je veux t’accorder une grâce.»
