अनादृत्य तु तद् वाक्यं नकुलः सुपिपासितः । अपिबच्छीतलं तोय॑ं पीत्वा च निपपात ह,नकुलकी प्यास बहुत बढ़ गयी थी। उन्होंने यक्षेके कथनकी अवहेलना करके वहाँका शीतल जल पी लिया। पीते ही वे अचेत होकर गिर पड़े
anādṛtya tu tad vākyaṃ nakulaḥ supipāsitaḥ | apibac chītalaṃ toyaṃ pītvā ca nipapāta ha ||
Mais Nakula, tourmenté par une soif ardente, méprisa ces paroles. Il but l’eau fraîche, et dès qu’il eut bu, il s’effondra, sans connaissance.
