नकुलस्तु तथेत्युक्त्वा भ्रातुर्ज्येछ्सल्थ शासनात् । प्राद्रवद् यत्र पानीयं शीघ्रं चैवान्वपद्यत,नकुल “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर बड़े भाईकी आज्ञासे शीघ्रतापूर्वक गये और जहाँ जलाशय था, वहाँ तुरंत पहुँच गये
nakulas tu tathety uktvā bhrātur jyeṣṭhasya śāsanāt | prādravad yatra pānīyaṃ śīghraṃ caivānvapadyata ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : Nakula, répondant «Qu’il en soit ainsi», obéit à l’ordre de son frère aîné. Il s’élança aussitôt vers l’endroit où se trouvait l’eau et parvint rapidement à la source.
