Sāvitrī’s Report and Nārada’s Prognosis (सावित्र्याख्यान—सत्यवान्-गुणवर्णनं तथा अल्पायुषः पूर्वसूचना)
तामुवाच स धर्मात्मा नृशंसं बत ते कृतम् । पतिं हत्वा कुलं चेदमुत्साद्य धनलुब्धया
tām uvāca sa dharmātmā nṛśaṃsaṃ bata te kṛtam | patiṃ hatvā kulaṃ cedaṃ utsādya dhanalubdhayā ||
Cet homme de dharma lui dit : «Hélas, quel acte cruel as-tu commis ! Poussée par la convoitise des richesses, tu as tué ton époux et précipité à la ruine toute cette lignée.»
