अरण्यकपर्व — मार्कण्डेयकथिते रामविजयः, सीताशुद्धिः, अयोध्याप्रत्यागमनवर्णनम्

स जज्ञे विश्रवा नाम तस्यात्मार्थेन वै द्विज: । प्रतीकाराय सक्रोधस्ततो वैश्रवणस्य वै

sa jajñe viśravā nāma tasyātmārthena vai dvijaḥ | pratīkārāya sakrodhas tato vaiśravaṇasya vai, rājan |

Mārkaṇḍeya dit : «De lui naquit un brahmane nommé Viśravā, suscité pour son propre dessein. Et, ô roi, embrasé de colère, il vint au monde afin d’exercer des représailles contre Vaiśravaṇa.»
