Daśagrīva-boonāvaraṇa, Viṣṇv-avatāra-niyoga, Vānara-sahāya-janana, Mantharā-nirmāṇa
अन्यायात् समुपात्तेन दानधर्मो धनेन यः । क्रियते न स कर्तरिं त्रायते महतो भयात्,अन्यायसे प्राप्त किये हुए धनके द्वारा जो दानधर्म किया जाता है वह कर्ताकी महान् भयसे रक्षा नहीं कर पाता
anyāyāt samupāttena dānadharmo dhanena yaḥ | kriyate na sa kartāraṃ trāyate mahato bhayāt ||
Vyāsa dit : «La charité et les autres actes de dharma accomplis avec une richesse acquise par l’injustice ne protègent pas celui qui les accomplit de la grande crainte. On ne garantit pas une fin éthique par des moyens contraires à l’éthique ; une richesse souillée ne peut devenir un véritable refuge pour le donateur.»
