प्रवर्ततां यथान्यायं सर्वतो हरनिवारित: । “भारत! उसी हलसे आपके यज्ञमण्डपकी भूमि जोती जाय। नृपश्रेष्ठ) उस जोती हुई भूमिमें ही उत्तम संस्कारसे सम्पन्न

Transliteration

pravartatāṃ yathānyāyaṃ sarvato haranivāritaḥ |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : «Qu’il soit accompli selon la règle juste, et que de toutes parts on empêche qu’on emporte ce qui est destiné au rite. Ô Bhārata, que le sol de ton enclos sacrificiel soit labouré avec cette même charrue ; et toi, le meilleur des rois, sur cette terre ainsi labourée, que le sacrifice commence comme il convient — consacré par les rites appropriés, riche en nourriture et en boisson, et ouvert à tous.»
