एवमाशा दृढा तस्य धार्त॑राष्ट्रस्थ दुर्मतेः
evam āśā dṛḍhā tasya dhārtarāṣṭrastha durmateḥ
Vaiśampāyana dit : Ainsi était ferme l’espérance de cet homme au mauvais esprit, qui avait lié son sort aux Dhārtarāṣṭras ; son attente se durcit en résolution, malgré le péril moral de la voie qu’il avait choisie.
