Draupadī-apaharaṇa-saṃdeśaḥ
Report of Draupadī’s Abduction and the Pāṇḍavas’ Pursuit
प्रतिनिक्षिप्य तं वीर॑ कृत्या समभिपूज्य च । अनुज्ञाता च राज्ञा सा तथैवान्तरधीयत
pratinikṣipya taṃ vīraṃ kṛtyā samabhipūjya ca | anujñātā ca rājñā sā tathaivāntaradhīyata ||
Après avoir déposé là ce héros, la Kṛtyā—apparition féminine investie d’un pouvoir magique—lui rendit les honneurs qui convenaient. Puis, ayant reçu l’assentiment du roi, elle disparut aux regards, comme elle était venue, marquant l’achèvement de la mission qui lui avait été confiée et la complicité du souverain dans cet acte.
