भ्रातृन्‌ पालय विस्रब्ध॑ मरुतो वृत्रहा यथा । बान्धवाश्लोपजीवन्तु देवा इव शतक़ुतुम्‌,जैसे इन्द्र मरुद्णोंकी रक्षा करते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम अपने अन्य भाइयोंका विश्वासपूर्वक पालन करना। जैसे देवता इन्द्रके आश्रित रहकर जीवननिर्वाह करते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारे बान्धवजन भी तुम्हारा आश्रय लेकर जीविका चलावें

Transliteration

bhrātṝn pālaya visrabdhaḥ maruto vṛtrahā yathā | bāndhavāś copajīvantu devā iva śatakratum ||

Translation

«Protège tes frères avec un soin assuré et confiant, comme Vṛtrahā (Indra) protège les Maruts. Et que tes proches vivent soutenus par toi, comme les dieux vivent entretenus par Śatakratu (Indra).»
