Draupadī’s Instruction on Marital Conduct and Household Discipline (चित्तग्रहण-उपदेश)
इत्येष वंश: सुमहानग्नीनां कीर्तितो मया । योडर्चितो विविधैर्मन्त्रैहव्यं वहति देहिनाम्,इस प्रकार मेरेद्वारा अग्निदेवके महान् वंशका प्रतिपादन किया गया। वे भगवान् अग्नि विविध वेदमन्त्रोंद्वार पूजित होकर देहधारियोंके दिये हुए हविष्यको देवताओंके पास पहुँचाते हैं
ity eṣa vaṁśaḥ sumahān agnīnāṁ kīrtito mayā | yo 'rcito vividhair mantrair havyaṁ vahati dehinām ||
Mārkaṇḍeya dit : « Ainsi ai-je raconté l’immense et très grand lignage des dieux du Feu. Lorsqu’on l’honore par divers mantras sacrés, ce Feu divin porte les oblations offertes par les êtres incarnés et les transmet aux dieux. »
