तादृशं विद्धि सर्वेषामेको होषु हुताशन: । वेदोंमें "अद्भुत! नामक अग्निके माहात्म्यका जैसा वर्णन है, वैसा ही सब अग्नियोंका समझना चाहिये; क्योंकि इन सबमें एक ही अग्नितत्त्व विद्यमान है
tādṛśaṃ viddhi sarveṣām eko hoṣu hutāśanaḥ |
Mārkaṇḍeya dit : «Sache que tous les feux sont d’une même nature ; car en chacun d’eux demeure un seul et même principe du Feu. Aussi la grandeur que les Veda attribuent au feu merveilleux doit-elle être reconnue comme la grandeur du feu partout.»
