Guṇa-vibhāga and Prāṇa–Agni–Yoga Upadeśa (गुणविभाग तथा प्राण-अग्नि-योगोपदेश)
तेजसा तव तेजश्व विष्णुराप्याययिष्यति । विष्णुना च वरो दत्त: पूर्व मम महीपते,भूपाल! भगवान् विष्णु अपने तेजसे आपके तेजको बढ़ायेंगे। उन्होंने पूर्वकालमें मुझे यह वर दिया था कि जो राजा उस भयानक एवं महान् असुरका वध करनेको उद्यत होगा, उस दुर्धर्ष वीरके भीतर मेरा वैष्णव तेज प्रवेश करेगा
tejasā tava tejaśva viṣṇur āpyāyayiṣyati | viṣṇunā ca varo dattaḥ pūrvaṁ mama mahīpate bhūpāla |
Uttaṅka dit : «Ô roi rayonnant, le Seigneur Viṣṇu affermira ton éclat par sa propre énergie divine. Jadis, ô maître de la terre, Viṣṇu m’accorda une grâce : quel que soit le roi qui se lèvera pour abattre cet asura terrible et puissant, en ce héros invincible entrera ma puissance vaiṣṇava.»
