Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
The verse highlights dharmic sensitivity: recognizing another’s fatigue and offering rest without constraint. Respectful hospitality toward sages and guests is presented as a natural expression of compassion and right conduct.
Vaiśampāyana addresses the sage Mārkaṇḍeya, acknowledging his weariness and inviting him to remain and rest there for as long as he wishes, using the honorific epithet “Bhārgava.”
