कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

पुरुषादानि सत्त्वानि पक्षिणो5थ मृगास्तथा । नगराणां विहारेषु चैत्येष्वपि च शेरते,मनुष्यका मांस खानेवाले हिंसक जीव तथा पशु-पक्षी नागरिकोंके बगीचों और देवालयोंमें भी शयन करेंगे
puruṣādāni sattvāni pakṣiṇo 'tha mṛgās tathā | nagarāṇāṃ vihāreṣu caityeṣv api ca śerate |
Vaiśampāyana dit : Des créatures qui se repaissent des hommes—oiseaux comme bêtes—se coucheront jusque dans les jardins de plaisance des cités et dans les sanctuaires sacrés. L’image annonce l’effondrement de la sûreté et de la révérence.
