तस्य वर्षशतं संधि: संध्यांशश्व॒ ततः परम्‌ | संधिसंध्यांशयोस्तुल्यं प्रमाणमुपधारय

Transliteration

tasya varṣaśataṁ sandhiḥ sandhyāṁśaś ca tataḥ param | sandhi-sandhyāṁśayor tulyaṁ pramāṇam upadhāraya ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana dit : « Pour cet âge, la période de transition (sandhi) est de cent ans, et ensuite la portion finale de transition (sandhyāṁśa) est elle aussi de cent. Comprends que la mesure du sandhi et du sandhyāṁśa est égale. »
