कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

दृष्टवा परिमितं तस्य प्रभावममितौजस:,उस अमित तेजस्वी शिशुका अनन्त प्रभाव देखकर मैं यत्नपूर्वक उसके समीप गया और विनीतभावसे हाथ जोड़कर सम्पूर्ण भूतोंके आत्मा उस कमलनयन देवताका दर्शन किया
dṛṣṭvā parimitaṃ tasya prabhāvam amitaujasā | sa amit-tejasvī śiśukaḥ ananta-prabhāvaḥ dṛṣṭvāhaṃ yatnapūrvakaṃ tasya samīpaṃ gataḥ | vinīta-bhāvena hastāñjalim kṛtvā sarva-bhūtānām ātmānaṃ taṃ kamala-nayanaṃ devatāṃ dadarśa ||
Voyant la puissance, mesurée et pourtant prodigieuse, de cet être à l’énergie sans bornes, et contemplant l’enfant rayonnant d’une splendeur infinie, je m’approchai avec une prudence délibérée. Avec humilité, je joignis les mains en signe de révérence et je vis cette divinité aux yeux de lotus — le Soi intime de tous les êtres —, honorant sa présence sacrée par une dévotion maîtrisée.
