Udyoga Parva, Chapter 81: Krishna Sets Out as Envoy
सर्वलक्षणसम्पन्न॑ं महाभुजगवर्चसम् | केशपक्षं वरारोहा गृह वामेन पाणिना,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! ऐसा कहकर सुन्दर अंगोंवाली, श्यामलोचना, कमलनयनी एवं गजगामिनी द्रुपदकुमारी कृष्णा अपने उन केशोंको, जो देखनेमें अत्यन्त सुन्दर, घुँघराले, अत्यन्त काले, एकत्र आबद्ध होनेपर भी कोमल, सब प्रकारकी सुगन्धोंसे सुवासित, सभी शुभ लक्षणोंसे सुशोभित तथा विशाल सर्पके समान कान्तिमान् थे, बाँयें हाथमें लेकर कमलनयन श्रीकृष्णके पास गयी और नेत्रोंमें आँसू भरकर इस प्रकार बोली --
sarvalakṣaṇasampannaṁ mahābhujagavarcasam | keśapakṣaṁ varārohā gṛhya vāmena pāṇinā ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ô Janamejaya, cette noble dame, pourvue de tous les signes de bon augure, prit de sa main gauche la masse de ses cheveux—rayonnante comme un grand serpent—et, en larmes, s’avança pour parler.»
