Drupada’s Counsel on Conciliation and Alliance Mobilization

The verse emphasizes timely, disciplined effort and prudent statecraft: once a course is chosen, one should act decisively, coordinate with allies, and prepare resources responsibly—especially when conflict is imminent.
Drupada agrees to proceed with the proposed course of action and urges immediate practical steps: sending word to allied kings and friends so they begin organizing and assembling military forces to support their side.
