योधचन्द्रोदयोद्धूत: कुरुराजमहार्णव: । व्यदृश्यत तदा राजंश्वन्द्रोदय इवोदधि:
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
yodhacandrodayoddhūtaḥ kururājamahārṇavaḥ |
vyadṛśyata tadā rājañ chandrodaya ivodadhiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Alors, ô roi, le vaste océan qu’était le royaume des Kuru parut remué et soulevé par l’ascension de la « lune » des guerriers ; il resplendissait comme la mer au lever de la lune.
