Adhyāya 152: Kaurava-sainyavibhāgaḥ
Division and Standardization of the Kaurava Host
As a colophon, the verse does not teach through direct instruction; it highlights the ethical weight of deliberate preparation for violence—mobilization is not accidental but chosen, and such choices propel society toward irreversible consequences.
The text formally closes a chapter in the Udyoga Parva that deals with Duryodhana’s army being readied and set in motion, signaling that negotiations have effectively given way to organized war preparations.
