(Karṇa–Kṛṣṇa-saṃvādaḥ) — Karṇa’s Statement on Lineage, Loyalty, and the ‘Śastra-yajña’ Metaphor
The verse urges a shift from hostility to rightful kinship: ethical strength lies in restoring fraternal bonds and aligning oneself with dharma so that goodwill grows among allies and the power of enmity diminishes.
Vāyudeva addresses Karṇa with a benediction and an exhortation: he blesses Karṇa’s friends with joy and his enemies with discomfiture, while urging Karṇa to adopt, from that day onward, a sincere brotherly relationship with the Pāṇḍavas.
