Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 137 — Bhīṣma–Droṇa Counsel and the Ethics of Restraint
प्रशाधि पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां ततस्त्वं भ्रातृभि: सह । समालिड्ग्य च हर्षेण नृपा यान्तु परस्परम्
praśādhi pṛthivīṃ kṛtsnāṃ tatas tvaṃ bhrātṛbhiḥ saha | samāliṅgya ca harṣeṇa nṛpā yāntu parasparam ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Règne sur la terre entière ; puis, toi, avec tes frères, gouvernez-la ensemble. Et que les rois, s’embrassant dans la joie et la réconciliation, quittent ce lieu dans une bienveillance réciproque.»
