अनुज्ञातस्तु शाण्डिल्या यथागतमुपागमत् | नैव चासादयामास तथारूपांस्तुरंगमान्,तत्पश्चात् शाण्डिलीकी आज्ञा ले वे जैसे आये थे, वैसे ही चले गये। वे गालवके बताये अनुसार श्यामकर्ण घोड़े नहीं पा सके
anujñātas tu śāṇḍilyā yathāgatam upāgamat | naiva cāsādayāmāsa tathārūpāṁs turaṅgamān |
Ayant reçu la permission de Śāṇḍilī, il repartit exactement comme il était venu. Pourtant, il ne put obtenir des chevaux du type requis ; ainsi, les coursiers aux oreilles sombres décrits par Gālava ne furent pas trouvés.
