भवितासि यथापूर्व बलवीर्यसमन्वित: । बभूवतुस्ततस्तस्य पक्षौ द्रविणवत्तरी,“अब तुम पहलेकी ही भाँति बल और पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न हो जाओगे।” शाण्डिलीके इतना कहते ही गरुड़की पाँखें पहलेसे भी अधिक शक्तिशाली हो गयीं

Transliteration

bhavitāsi yathāpūrvaṃ balavīryasamanvitaḥ | babhūvatus tataḥ tasya pakṣau draviṇavattarī |

Translation

Nārada dit : «Tu redeviendras comme auparavant, pourvu de force et de vaillance héroïque.» Et lorsque Śāṇḍilī eut parlé ainsi, les ailes de Garuḍa devinrent plus vigoureuses et plus puissantes qu’elles ne l’avaient été—signe que sa puissance native se trouvait rétablie par une parole véridique et bienfaisante, et par l’efficacité de la bénédiction d’une sage.
