गालव उवाच क्रममाणस्य ते रूप॑ दृश्यते पन्नगाशन । भास्करस्थेव पूर्वाह्ने सहस्रांशोर्विवस्वत:
gālava uvāca | kramamāṇasya te rūpaṃ dṛśyate pannagāśana | bhāskarastheva pūrvāhne sahasrāṃśor vivasvataḥ ||
Gālava dit : «Ô mangeur de serpents (Garuḍa), lorsque tu parcours le ciel, ta forme apparaît telle le Soleil—Vivasvān aux mille rayons—qu’on voit au matin, resplendissant comme s’il était posé dans la voûte céleste.»
