शुक्लाम्बरधर: स्रग्वी शुचिर्भूत्वा स््वलंकृतः । अर्चयेत यथान्यायं गन्धमाल्यै: पृथक् पृथक्
śuklāmbara-dharaḥ sragvī śucir bhūtvā svalankṛtaḥ | arcayet yathā-nyāyaṁ gandha-mālyaiḥ pṛthak pṛthak ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Purifié, vêtu de blanc, portant une guirlande et paré comme il convient, il doit adorer selon la règle, offrant parfums et guirlandes de fleurs à chacun séparément. L’esprit concentré et pur, qu’il présente en offrandes mets exquis, nourriture, boissons, couronnes de fleurs et autres objets plaisants.»
