तावुभौ पुरुषव्याप्रौ समुद्री क्ष्य युधिष्ठिरम् । यथावत् प्रतिपेदाते पूजया देवपूजिती,पुरुषसिंह अर्जुन और श्रीकृष्ण देवताओंद्वारा पूजित थे। इन दोनोंने युधिष्ठिरको उपस्थित देख उनका यथावत् सम्मान किया
tāv ubhau puruṣavyāghrau samudīkṣya yudhiṣṭhiram | yathāvat pratipedāte pūjayā devapūjitau ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Ces deux héros, tigres parmi les hommes — Arjuna et Śrī Kṛṣṇa, honorés même par les dieux — voyant Yudhiṣṭhira présent, s’approchèrent selon l’usage convenable et lui rendirent les égards qui lui étaient dus. La scène met en lumière l’éthique qui consiste à honorer l’autorité légitime et le dharma par une conduite juste, même entre les plus grands.
