भीष्म उवाच
This verse is a colophon rather than a doctrinal statement: it signals the completion of a chapter devoted to the Utathya-gītā within the instruction on rājadharma, framing the preceding material as guidance for ethical kingship and right governance.
Bhīṣma’s discourse reaches a formal chapter-end marker: the text announces that the ninety-first chapter on the Utathya-gītā, situated inside the Rājadharmānuśāsana section of the Śānti Parvan, has concluded.
