यथा विष्णुमयं सत्यं यथा विष्णुमयं जगत् । यथा विष्णुमयं सर्व पाप्मा मे नश्यतां तथा
yathā viṣṇumayaṃ satyaṃ yathā viṣṇumayaṃ jagat | yathā viṣṇumayaṃ sarvaṃ pāpmā me naśyatāṃ tathā ||
Bhīṣma dit : «De même que la vérité est pénétrée par Viṣṇu, de même que le monde entier est pénétré par Viṣṇu, et de même que tout ce qui est, sans exception, est pénétré par Viṣṇu — ainsi, par la puissance de cette vérité, que mon péché soit anéanti.»
