यमाहुर्जगत: कोशं यस्मिन् संनिहिता: प्रजा: । यस्मिल्लोका: स्फुरन्तीमे जले शकुनयो यथा
bhīṣma uvāca | yam āhur jagataḥ kośaṃ yasmin saṃnihitāḥ prajāḥ | yasmin lokāḥ sphurantīme jale śakunayo yathā |
Bhīṣma dit : «On l’appelle le trésor et le dépôt de l’univers, en qui toutes les créatures sont rassemblées et soutenues. En Lui, les mondes frémissent et se meuvent—comme des oiseaux glissant et jouant à la surface de l’eau—si bien que toute l’activité cosmique repose sur Lui comme sur son appui.»
